Saturday 19:55 ARoSAntophones’ trademark is a subdued, contemplative pop that has its roots in the singer-songwriter tradition. The subdued character is contrasted by occasional, rather eccentric elements like offbeat instrumental experiments and vocalist Line Blaase’s Kate Bush-like intensity. Normally a sextet, Antophones appear as a trio at SPOT 11. Danish music mag Gaffa has singled out Antophones as one of twelve Danish bands to keep an eye on in 2005.
