Saturday 23:20 OfficerBehind the crooked name an even more crooked band appears. Headed by nutty cousins Søren Kjærgaard and Kresten Osgood, Ikscheltaschel sing and rap in a language they have invented themselves – equal parts Dutch, Japanese, and Finnish – to which they add a chaos of wry beats and tunes. The result savours of hip-hop, electronica, funk, and avant-garde sound experiments – and of nothing else on the Danish scene right now.
