Saturday 21:50 CaféenAs a sideman, bass player Nicolai Munck has wandered freely between jazz and rock. His CV includes recordings and gigs with Tim Christensen and Nikolaj Nørlund as well as Jens Winther and Carsten Dahl. This autumn, however, he is going to unfold as a solo artist on Nørlund s label Auditorium, and from that quarter Munck s style is described as jazz inspired by icons such as Ornette Coleman, Charles Mingus, and Paul Motian.
