Friday 17:00 KunstbygningCultures meet with a vengeance when Shungu enter the stage. The four dancers and musicians of the ensemble have their roots in Ghana, Zimbabwe, and Senegal, and their dynamic performance picks up inspiration from the musical traditions of the African continent as well as the modern world music hybrids of the Western World. The Cuban dancer Grisel Gonzales will guest-star to pour Latin American spices in Shungu’s melting pot.
