By Jan Jørgensen, MyMusic.dk | Foto: Lars Dyrendom | | It is no coincidence that Hatesphere is called the best live act in Denmark, which became even more obvious at their show on SPOT11. Despite the fact that the guys arrived directly from some long days laying down drum tracks for their fourth full length CD to be released on SPV/Steamhammer, they managed to run over their audience like a big fiery ball of, well, hate.
Regarding technical skills, Hatesphere is right up there with other Danish metal pros, Mercenary and Mnemic. The concert was tight as hell, Hatesphere has in relatively short time built up an amazingly self confident and very competent stage appearance, mostly due to intensive international touring with bands like Morbid Angel, Crowbar and Kreator.
The venue was not quite filled up, but the people there got all Hatesphere had to give. Rarely has hate and mayhem felt so lovely.
